SSC Ultimate Aero - The Speedy King Never Disappointed Drivers

In 2012, the prestigious American supercar company SSC confirmed the final manufacturing of Ultimate Aero cars at its factory in West Richland, Washington.

Known as Shelby SuperCars, SSC used Ultimate Aero to defeat Bugatti Veyron to become the world's fastest supercar.

However, in August 2012, the SSC produced five cars under the specific name Ultimate Aero XT before being replaced by the new generation of supercar called Tuatara.

So, which made the SSC Ultimate Aero become a myth? Go with us to check them out!

Outstanding Features Of Ssc Ultimate Aero

SSC Ultimate Aero was first put into production in 2006 and quickly attracted the attention of the world by its power and its tremendous speed.

Additionally, the SSC Ultimate Aero was also listed as the fastest commercial car in the Guinness Book of World Records in 2007 with a maximum speed of 412 km / h. So far, this supercar has been still in the top 5 fastest cars.

Durable Engine System

Unlike many other modern supercars, the SSC Ultimate Aero initially did not have an ABS. It does not comprise of the traction control system, although the maximum speed of the car far exceeds 322 km / h.

Then, the Ultimate Aero XT is built to become the last Ultimate Aero version of the SSC. And it has significantly higher power than the Ultimate Aero TT predecessor.

The heart of the car is 7.0-liter Twin-Turbocharged V8 engine, with a maximum capacity of 1,300 horsepower at 6,800 rpm, and maximum torque of 1,359 Nm. This engine is the same type as the engine developed by SSC for Tuatara.

Comes with a 7-speed gearbox, this 1.270kg supercar can accelerate from 0-100km / h in 2.65 seconds. SSC believed that with new aerodynamic power and design, Ultimate Aero XT could reach a speed threshold of over 256 mph.

Special Colors

At that time, only 5 Ultimate Aero XT supercars were shipped with five different unique colors at the customer's discretion. And SSC has stated that red will never be used again for its products in the future.

Several Other Description Of The Design

The car tail points up slightly to give the rear damping force a little bit.

Around the back of Ultimate Aero XT, you have six taillights seen on the standard Ultimate Aero, along with the central exhaust system.

We do not have too much information about the internal design, but we can assume that its design is quite similar to the base model Ultimate Aero.

In terms of amenities, you get power windows, A / C, electric mirrors, tilt steering wheel, 7.5-inch LCD screen, 10-speaker high-end stereo system with CD and DVD players. You also get a full-time rear camera and a navigation system.

It Used To Be A Myth
